Inventory Management

Overview

BizoraPOS inventory features help you:

• Track stock levels in real-time
• Get alerts before you run out of stock
• Organize products with categories
• Track cost prices for profit calculation
• Scan barcodes for fast lookup
• See which products sell fastest

Managing Products

Adding a New Product

1. Go to Products → Add Product
2. Enter product details:
   • Name - What you call it (e.g., "Fanta Orange 500ml")
   • SKU - Optional internal code
   • Barcode - Scan or type manually
   • Category - Group similar products
   • Selling Price - What customers pay
   • Cost Price - What you paid (for profit tracking)
   • Stock Quantity - How many you have
   • Low Stock Alert - When to warn you
3. Tap Save

Editing a Product

1. Go to Products
2. Find the product (search or browse)
3. Tap the product
4. Tap Edit
5. Make changes and tap Save

Deleting a Product

1. Go to product details
2. Tap Delete
3. Confirm deletion

Stock Tracking

Stock is automatically updated when you make sales. But sometimes you need to adjust stock manually:

Stock Adjustment

Use this when stock count is wrong (damage, theft, counting error):

1. Go to product details
2. Tap Adjust Stock
3. Enter the correct quantity
4. Select reason (Damaged, Lost, Count Correction, etc.)
5. Add a note (optional)
6. Tap Save

Stock In (Receiving Goods)

When new stock arrives:

1. Go to Inventory → Stock In
2. Select products and quantities
3. Enter supplier (optional)
4. Enter cost if different from default
5. Tap Receive Stock

Low Stock Alerts

Never run out of stock! BizoraPOS alerts you when products are running low.

Setting Up Alerts

For each product, set a "Low Stock Level":

• When stock falls below this number, you get an alert
• Set higher numbers for fast-selling products
• Example: Set "10" for a product that sells 5 per day = 2 days warning

Smart Alerts (AI)

BizoraPOS AI Insights goes further. It looks at how fast products sell and warns you before you run out:

• "Rice will sell out in 2 days at current pace"
• "5 fast-selling items need restocking"

Check the Insights tab for smart alerts.

Categories

Organize products into categories to find them faster:

Creating Categories

1. Go to Products → Categories
2. Tap Add Category
3. Enter name (e.g., "Beverages", "Electronics", "Groceries")
4. Choose a color (optional)
5. Tap Save

Sub-Categories

You can create sub-categories for better organization:

• Beverages
  • Soft Drinks
  • Juices
  • Water

Barcode Support

BizoraPOS supports all standard barcodes:

• EAN-13 - Most retail products
• UPC-A - US products
• Code 128 - Custom barcodes
• QR Codes - Can store product ID

Scanning Products

• Camera - Use your phone/tablet camera
• External Scanner - Connect USB or Bluetooth scanner

Printing Barcodes

For products without barcodes, you can print your own:

1. Go to product details
2. Tap Print Barcode
3. Select label size and quantity
4. Print to label printer

Inventory Reports

Understand your inventory better:

• Stock Value Report - Total value of all inventory
• Low Stock Report - Products that need reordering
• Stock Movement - What came in and went out
• Dead Stock - Products not selling

Find these in Reports → Inventory.
