Inventory Management
Know what you have, what's selling, and what's running low. Never run out of your best products again.
What You Can Do
- Add products with prices, costs, and stock quantities
- Organize products into categories
- Track stock levels in real-time
- Get alerts before you run out
- See stock movement history
- Adjust stock for damage, loss, or count corrections
- Receive new stock from suppliers
Adding Products
Go to Products → Add Product
Required Information
- Product Name — What you call it (e.g., "Fanta Orange 500ml")
- Selling Price — What customers pay
- Stock Quantity — How many you have now
Recommended Information
- Cost Price — What you paid (for profit tracking)
- Category — For organization
- Barcode — For fast scanning
- Low Stock Alert — When to warn you
Optional Information
- SKU — Your internal product code
- Description — Extra details
- Image — Product photo
- Supplier — Who you buy from
Categories
Categories help you organize products and find them quickly in the POS.
Creating Categories
- Go to Products → Categories
- Tap Add Category
- Enter name (e.g., "Beverages", "Electronics")
- Choose a color (optional, helps visual recognition)
- Tap Save
Example Category Structure
Stock Tracking
Stock updates automatically when you make sales. But sometimes you need manual adjustments.
Stock Adjustment
Use when actual stock doesn't match the system (damage, theft, counting error):
- Go to product details
- Tap Adjust Stock
- Enter the correct quantity
- Select reason:
- Damaged
- Lost/Stolen
- Count Correction
- Expired
- Other
- Add note (optional but recommended)
- Tap Save
Receiving Stock
When new inventory arrives from suppliers:
- Go to Inventory → Receive Stock
- Select supplier (optional)
- Add products and quantities
- Enter cost price if different from default
- Tap Receive
Low Stock Alerts
Get notified before you run out. For each product, set a "Low Stock Level":
Example: You sell about 5 units of Rice per day.
Set low stock alert at 15 = 3 days warning to reorder.
Where Alerts Appear
- Dashboard — Low stock count shown
- Inventory page — Items highlighted in red/amber
- AI Insights — Smart alerts based on sales velocity
Stock Movement History
Every stock change is recorded:
- Sales — Stock reduced when sold
- Adjustments — Manual corrections
- Receiving — Stock added from suppliers
- Returns — Stock returned from refunds
View history: Product details → Stock History

Barcode Support
BizoraPOS supports all standard retail barcodes:
- EAN-13 — Standard retail (13 digits)
- UPC-A — US products (12 digits)
- Code 128 — Custom codes
- QR Codes — Can store product ID
Printing Your Own Barcodes
For products without barcodes:
- Go to product details
- Tap Print Barcode
- Select label size and quantity
- Print to label printer
Inventory Reports
Find these in Reports → Inventory:
Stock Value
Total value of inventory at cost and selling price.
Low Stock
All products below their alert threshold.
Stock Movement
All ins and outs for a date range.
Dead Stock
Products with no sales in 30+ days.
