Customer Management
Know your customers. Track their purchases, manage credit, and never forget who owes you money.
What You Can Do
- Create customer profiles with contact info
- Track purchase history per customer
- Allow trusted customers to buy on credit
- Track who owes you and how much
- Record payments against debts
- Set credit limits per customer
- Track loyalty points (optional)
Adding Customers
Go to Customers → Add Customer
Basic Info
- Name — Customer's name
- Phone — For contact and WhatsApp receipts
- Email — Optional, for email receipts
Credit Settings
- Allow Credit — Can this customer buy on credit?
- Credit Limit — Maximum amount they can owe
- Payment Terms — Days to pay (7, 14, 30)
Selling on Credit
For trusted customers who pay later:
- Make a sale as normal in POS
- At payment, select Credit
- Select or create customer
- Sale is recorded as debt
Credit Limit Warning
If a customer tries to exceed their credit limit, you'll see a warning. You can still proceed, but it's a reminder to be careful.
Tracking Debts
See all outstanding debts in one place:
Go to Customers → Debts

Tap a customer to see all their individual unpaid invoices.
Recording Payments
When a customer pays their debt:
- Go to customer profile or Debts page
- Tap Record Payment
- Enter amount received
- Select payment method (cash, mobile money, etc.)
- Tap Save
Customer Profile
Each customer profile shows:
Summary
- Total spent (lifetime)
- Number of purchases
- Current balance owed
- Credit limit remaining
History
- All purchases
- All payments
- Outstanding invoices
- Last visit date
Linking Sales to Customers
Even cash sales can be linked to customers for tracking:
- In POS, tap Customer before checkout
- Select existing customer or create new
- Complete sale normally
- Sale appears in customer's purchase history
This helps you see who your best customers are and what they buy.
Customer Reports
Find these in Reports → Customers:
Top Customers
Customers ranked by total spending.
Debt Report
All outstanding balances, aging analysis.
Inactive Customers
Customers who haven't visited in 30+ days.
Payment History
All debt payments received.
